What is it that makes your favorite beach... well, your favorite?
One of the feature I like the most is a beach destination on a jet of land like Cocoa Beach FL, Ocean City MD, and South Padre Island TX or small island like the Florida Keys. These places give you an option to catch a pretty sunrise with a Mimosa and breakfast and catch a beautiful sunset with Champagne and diner. Well I would perfer a beer my self.
So what is your favorite features? _________________ When you think Beach, Think SurfSun.com |

My favorite beach is Dewey Beach, De. Our beaches here are very clean and have lifeguards. We have rules that make them safe. Unlike the beaches in New Jersey, you don't have to pay to go on the beach in Dewey Beach or Rehoboth Beach. Try us and I think you will love the Delaware Beaches. We currently have a lady who came from Rome, Italy. She has been to a lot of places but is planning on two weeks in Dewey next year. We also have customers that come up from Florida because they like our atmosphere so much better. Check us out at

|

We looked for this beach for years...started in SC and then worked the Panhandle from AL East across the Panhandle!
Cape San Blas is 20 miles long and 10 of the 20 miles is State Park (7 of the 10 miles of the State Park doesn't even have roads--just pristine Beach and Bay!). It is a mile wide at it's widest point so the beach and the bay are often in view at the same time! No high rise condos are allowed so you have the beach almost to yourself!
Miles of white, sugar-sand beaches without the crowds leaves lots of room for everyone--even your dogs! Gulf County is one of the last remaining "pet friendly" areas where you dog is allowed on the beach 24/7! Now we can even take our 2 labs with us and they LOVE it! If you take your dog, be sure to bring a flashlight and watch then chase crabs on the beach at night--they have a blast!
Our kids love to go crabbing, fishing, taking a boat out in the bay to watch the dolphins and stingray and crabs, snorkeling and seeing the sand dollars and starfish, scalloping (the season is July 1 - Sept 10) or just dig sand castles, boogie board and fly a kite!
We don't have to worry about the Spring Break or summer crowds (or partiers) because they don't come--those folks find Panama City or Destin! Hope they never find it!
You can find more information about "The Forgotten Coast" and learn how to crab or scallop at www.TheCapeEscape.com ! |
